Looking After Your Conservatory Roof Through the Year
A few simple checks through the year keep your conservatory roof in good shape. Only do what you can safely reach from the ground. Never climb onto a glass or polycarbonate roof.
Autumn
Clear leaves from gutters and downpipes so rainwater drains away properly.
Winter
Watch for drips, damp patches or condensation after cold nights, and keep the room ventilated.
Spring
Look for cracked or discoloured panels, gaps in seals and moss build-up.
Summer
Note how hot the room gets. If you can't use it on sunny days, that's a sign the roof isn't doing its job.
