The Benefits of a Tiled Conservatory Roof
If your conservatory is freezing in January and like a greenhouse in July, the roof is almost always the cause. Polycarbonate and glass let heat straight out in winter and straight in during summer. A Nu-Look insulated tiled roof fixes that at the source.
Warmer in winter, cooler in summer
A typical conservatory roof has a U-value of around 1.7 W/m²K. A Nu-Look roof brings it down to 0.14 W/m²K, the same insulation value as any other room in your home. In practice that means the room holds its heat in winter and doesn't bake in summer, so you can use it all year round.
Lower heating costs
Because far less heat escapes through the roof, you're no longer heating the garden. Customers tell us the difference shows in their heating bills, and the room stops being the cold spot in the house.
Quieter, with less glare
Rain on polycarbonate is loud. The layers of insulation in a Nu-Look roof cut that noise right down, and a solid roof ends the blinding sun glare that makes many conservatories unusable on bright days.
Looks like part of the house
The roof is finished in lightweight Tapco slate-effect tiles, in Pewter Grey, Stone Black, Red Rock, Plum, Brick Red or Chestnut Brown. Inside, you get a plastered ceiling ready to decorate, so the conservatory feels like a proper room.
Built to last, and guaranteed
Every roof is a bespoke timber frame built on site. Tapco tiles carry a 40-year manufacturer's guarantee, and the installation comes with a 10-year insurance-backed guarantee.
